Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior React Developer with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of building high-performance, user-friendly web applications. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about frontend technologies and is eager to work on high-traffic, customer-facing platforms for a major enterprise client. The successful candidate will lead the development of responsive, mobile-first web applications using React and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable React-based web applications with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Build Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) optimized for mobile and desktop users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and backend developers.
- Lead all phases of the development lifecycle — from design and implementation to deployment and post-launch support.
- Develop architectural prototypes and contribute to technical strategy.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices in UI development.
- Analyze risks, propose mitigation strategies, and suggest improvements to existing processes and technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including wireframes and data models
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in React.js development.
- Proven track record of building high-traffic, public-facing responsive web applications.
- Hands-on experience developing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in the entire SDLC including design, implementation, deployment, and support.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and technology improvement.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with writing unit tests and test-driven development (TDD).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
